I'm Hannah, originally from the flattest corner of northern Germany (where the highest "mountain" near my hometown was a highway overpass, not joking), I discovered mountains a little later in life, but once I did, there was no going back.

After a fair amount of travelling, a lucky coincidence brought me to Canada in 2023, where I traded the marketing hamster wheel for the Canadian Rockies. 

 

After spending years working in brand marketing, I eventually realized I wanted to build a life that felt a little more like me. Somewhere along the way, I found my way back into photography, and today I get to combine both worlds in a way that makes perfect sense.

You'll usually find me somewhere on a trail, backpack on, camera in hand, happily stopping every few minutes because the light is beautiful, a tiny flower caught my eye, or, my personal favourite, there's a pika nearby (you'll understand once you watch a pika carrying flowers that are somehow twice its size around). 

​

Mountains are where I slow down, recharge, and feel most inspired. Spending so much time outdoors has also made protecting these places incredibly important to me. Whether I'm hiking, photographing, or working with brands, I always try to leave things a little better than I found them.

​

As a photographer, my biggest goal isn't just creating beautiful images, it's creating an experience you'll genuinely enjoy. I want you to leave thinking, "That was so much fun, I barely even noticed we were taking photos."

I'd love for it to feel like you're spending the day outside with a friend who just happens to have a camera. I'll guide you when you need it, but there won't be any awkward posing, forced smiles, or pressure to be anything other than yourselves.

The funny thing is, my work in marketing isn't all that different.

I bring over 10 years of brand marketing experience to work with brands and small businesses across industries and I just love digging into what makes a brand different, finding the stories that often hide in plain sight. Whether I'm photographing people or helping a small business tell its story, I'm doing the same thing: noticing what already makes someone unique and helping others see it too. Sometimes that's the connection between two people, and sometimes it's the story behind a brand.

Either way, I really believe that when people enjoy the process, you can feel it in the final result.
